Golden Laced Wyandottes

GLW 01 - 300The Golden Laced Wyandotte is one of fifteen recognized variants of the Wyandotte chicken breed. Their beautiful golden feathers with black edging make for striking hens and roosters.

Friendly and docile, Golden Laced Wyandottes are excellent layers of large brown eggs. As dual-purpose birds, they are also suited for meat production.

Silver Laced Wyandottes were developed in New York in the 1870s. Golden Laced Wyandottes were developed from their Silver-Laced cousins in Wisconsin in 1880.
